3. Biodata:
Ahmadi Ershad was born and raised in Kabul and stayed in Afghanistan during the course of the civil war. He completed a master’s degree in governance and development at the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. He wrote his thesis on governance reform in Indonesia. He also received a United Nations University fellowship onhuman rights and peace-building in Tokyo.
Ershad Ahmadi was mentioned as the deputy head of the newly established High Office of Oversight and Anti-Corruption in Afghanistan (2009). The agency is now lobbying the Afghan government to compile a list of the 100 most corrupt public officials so they can be dismissed. Ahmadi has strong british links. He writes analysis papers for the british Royal United Services Institute. So far he has a clean record and seems to be not corrupt.
