Mrs. Dr. Huma Saeed s a researcher with international human rights organizations. Huma is also affiliated as a senior researcher at the University of Leuven, Belgium, where she obtained her Ph.D in criminology, focusing on transitional justice and economic-state crime in Afghanistan. Huma is the author of several research and policy publications on transitional justice in Afghanistan, including a book published by Routledge titled Transitional justice and socio-economic harm: Land grabbing in Afghanistan (2022).
