Background:

Recent figures are showing rise in Afghanistan's trade with Iran, but trade with Pakistan is declining due to disturbing political ties, chairman of Pakistan Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry said Saturday, Nov 11, 2017. Zubair Motiwala said this following the chamber’s 8th Executive body meeting in Karachi that was attended also by Afghanistan’s delegation led by Khan Jan Alokozai, who is also co-chairman of the chamber.(20171112)
