3. Biodata:
Bashir Ahmad Tah Yenj Bashir Ahmad Tahyenj, s/o Chari Khan is born in Andkhoi District of Faryab Province in 1974. His mother language is though Uzbek but he speaks Dari, Pashto, and English. TahYenj completed his secondary education at Abdu Muslim Andkhoi High School in the Andkhoi District of Faryab in 1991. He got his bachelor degree in Literature from Balkh University in 1995. TahYenj worked with international organizations and NGOs including the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Institute of Medicine. He was also the Editor-in-Chief of a monthly Uzbek publication “Yeshel Yepragh” (Green Page) from 2006 to 2007. TahYenj was a member of the Provincial Council for Faryab Province for four years. He held the post of Deputy Chairman of the Council for two years. TahYenj is affiliated with Hezb-e-Junbish Milli Islami Afghanistan led by Abdul Rashid Dostum.

Afghan Lower House (Wolesi Jirga)  suspended Bashir Ahmad Tahyenj due to long absence in first major disciplinary move.(20170412)
