Mohammad Mehdi Rasukh Mohammad Mehdi Rasikh Mohammad Mahdi Rasekh son of Muhammad Hassan was born 1985 in Daimirdad district of Maidan Wardak province. He was awarded Master of sociology.

He wins with 6,025 votes in Wolesi Jirga election 2018 and got a seat in WJ 2018.

Members of the Shiite Hazara community accused the government of inaction over the Behsud shooting. Mehdi Rasikh, a member of the lower house (Wolesi Jirga) in the province, told the House on Monday April 19, 2021 that the government is trying to politicize the issue. He claimed that at least 42 civilians were wounded and killed two weeks ago during the clashes.
 

Army forces detained Mahdi Rasikh in Hesa-e-Awal Behsud district of Maidan Wardak on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Rasikh, who represents Maidan Wardak province in the Parliament, was taken to Bamyan province. Mohammad Mohsin Wahdat, district governor of Hesa-e-Awal Behsud, said that the MP was detained by army forces on charges of “inappropriate activity.”

Some reports suggest the army forces have disarmed personal bodyguards of Rasikh. But the district governor said that army forces, under the directive of the Ministry of Defense, arrested Rasikh, confiscating six guns of unidentified types in his possession. With two Humvees and in a ‘dignified way’ the Afghan forces escorted Rasikh to Bamyan from where they will escort him to Kabul.
