3. Biodata:
Abdel-Ellah Sediqi was born 1975 in Kabul. A student of the Esteqlal high school in Kabul, he obtained his baccalauréat in 1995 at the Esteqlal high school in Peshawar. In 2002, he obtained a Master's degree in Public Law from the University of Paris VIII before entering the National School of Administration (Promotion Senghor, 2002-2004). He is currently preparing a doctoral thesis in law at the University of Hamburg (Germany). After returning to Afghanistan in 2004, he alternated between the positions of senior civil servant and international development project manager in Afghanistan. From 2004 to 2005, he was Senior Advisor to the Minister of Finance. From 2005 to 2008, he was Assistant to the UNDP Project Leader in Support of the Afghan Parliament and then Head of the UNDP Project in Support of the Institutions of the Government Center from 2008 to 2009. In 2010 he became Director of the Legislation Department and Public Service Policies in the Independent Commission on Administrative Reform and Civil Service (IARCSC) before joining UNDP in 2012 as the Chief of the Afghan Parliamentary Support Project. Since 2014, he held the position of Director General of Legal, Legislative and Judicial Affairs at the Presidency of the Republic. During his career, he has also held teaching, training and research positions in law, strategic management and leadership, and in public finance in the Afghan Senate, the Supreme Court, the War of the Afghan Ministry of Defense and the Afghan Local Governance Agency between 2005 and 2015. He is also a regular member of the IPAG of the University of Western Brittany in Brest. Prior to his training at the Alliance Française de Paris in 1996, he served as a full professor of French at the Esteqlal High School and at the French Cultural Center of Peshawar for the Afghans for three years before beginning his studies in law and administration in France.

Abdel-Ellah Sediqi was appointed Ambassador of Afghanistan to France and Ambassador - Permanent Delegate to UNESCO and ISESCO in 2016.
