Public representative Raza Alamzada, speaking on behalf of demonstrators, alleged Brig. Gen. Khalilullah Dastyar’s poor management had resulted in the fall of many security check-posts in Sancharak district and provincial capital. He said Dastyar was an elderly man who was unable to control the prevailing security situation. He urged the government to appoint a young and dynamic police chief in his place. Provincial Council Chairman Mohammad Noor Roohani and some other members also took part in the demonstration and expressed similar views.(20180421)
