Background on SadRoz.af
Sad roz means 100 days in Dari. On the campaign trail, presidential candidates make promises to win votes. SadRoz.af is a collaborative tool to track the first 100 days ofthe new government against campaign promises. Our goal is to empower Afghans to play a role in making the administration live up to its promises. SadRoz.af’s motto isour government, our watch.” SadRoz.af team used a wide network of citizen journalists, visitors and civil society groups to track updates on the promises. SadRoz.af was able to “break” the news of the reopening of the Kabul Bank case and the signing of the Access to Information Law. SadRoz.af content was available in three languages – English, Dari and Pashto – for users on social media and the website itself.
