Ghor New PC members’ biographies- 2014
Ghor provincial council has 15 members. Three members are from the last term while the remaining 12 are fresh faces.

1. Abdul Rahman Atash:
Abdul Rahman is the son of Mohammad Akram. He was born in 1966 in Saghar district. He has studied up to 12th class and prior to running for provincial council elections, he was working at Hamkar NGO.

2. Mohammad Mehdvi:
Mohammad Mehdvi is the son of Hassan Ali. He was born in 1984 in Lal-u-Sarjangal district. He has a degree in law and political science from Gharjastan private institute in Kabul. In administrative board election, he was chosen as deputy head of the council.

3. Abdul Basir Qaderi:
Abdul Basir Qaderi is the son of Mirza Ghulam Nabi. He was born in 1964 in Tolak district. He has studied up to 14th class. Earlier, he was district chief of Saghar district.

4. Izatullah Ibrahimi:
Izatullah Ibrahimi is the son of Hayatullah. He was born in 1975 in Firozkoh town. He has studied up to 12th class. He had served as teacher and in various positions in government and non-government organizations.
5. Mohammad Sakhi Jawed:
Mohammad Sakhi Jawed is the son of Mohammad Hussain. He was born in 1979 in Lal-o-Sarjangal district. He has studied up to 14th class. Earlier, he worked in rural rehabilitation and development department.
6. Mawen Ahmad:
Mawen Ahmad is the son of Ayub. He was born in 1955 in Dawlatyar district. He has studied up to 14th class in the field of mathematics and physics and has a degree in law and political science from Dawat University in Kabul. Last term, after being elected, he was introduced to the upper house of parliament as a senator. Now, he is a member of the provincial council.

7. Fazul Haq Ehsan:
Fazul Haq Ehsan is the son of Abdul Rahman. He was born in 1961 in Charsada district. He has studied up to 12th class. He is one of the previous members and head of the provincial council.
8. Mullah Hamidullah Mutahid:
Mullah Hamidullah Mutahid is the son of Mullah Mohammad Azim and was born 1984 in Dawlatyar district. He has studied till 14th class. Earlier, he was head of the technical services of the district and also served as a teacher. He has no political affiliation.

Mohammad Hashim Faizi is the son of Wakil Juma Gul and was born in 1977 in Dawlina district. He has studied up to 12th class. Earlier, he was Dawlina district chief. Faizi is not affiliated to any political parties.

12. Mrs. Gulsoom Rezai:
Gulsoom Rezai is the daughter of Abdul Hussain and was born in 1985 in Lal-u-Sarjangal district. She has studied up to 14th class. She is not affiliated to any political parties. Earlier, she served as a teacher.

Abdul Rahim is the son of Mohammad Ghaus and was born in 1970 in Charsada district. He has studied up to 14th class. He was also a previous member of the provincial council. Earlier, for six years, he worked in the education department of Ghor province.
