1- Maulvi Abdul Qahar Hakimi, head of Takhar Provincial Council:
Son of Abdul Hakim, Maulvi Abdul Qahar Hakimi is born in 1979 in Lata Band village of Taluqan city.He completed his primary education in Kalfakan district and later he went to a Madrassa for further studies. He graduated from a Pakistani Madrassa in 2004.He obtained his undergraduate degree from Ministry of Education and started teaching at a Madrassa in Taluqan city. Hakimi became member of provincial council in 2009 after winning the elections. Earlier, he was member of provincial council. Currently, he is head of provincial council.

2-Khan Mohammad Sadiqui, assistant of Provincial Council:
Son of Wakeel Mohammad Sadiqui, Khan Mohammad Sadiqui is born in 1963 in Nawabad village Dashti Qala district of Takhar province.He completed his primary studies at his hometown and graduated from 12th class in 1981.He served as a military officer during Dr. Najibullah government and became member of provincial council in 2009.Currently, he assumes the responsibility of assistant in the provincial council.
3-Qari Mohammad Khan:
Son of Habibullah, Qari Mohammad Khan is born in 1975 in Bangi district.He is a high school graduate and then served as a commander during Jihad. He is member of provincial council.

4-Abdul Hadi:
Son of Abdul Motalib Baig, Abdul Hadi is born in 1988 in Taluqan city.He is graduated from Sayyed Abdullah Shahid High School and got bachelor degree in faculty of agriculture from Takhar University.Abdul Hadi made his way to provincial council after a victory in 2009 elections and he is still its member.His father, Mutalib Baig was a prominent Jihadi personality who was killed in a suicide attack in 2011.
5-Alhaj Zia-ul-Haq Samim:
Alhaj Zia-ul-Haq Samim is the son of Qari Amin. He is born in 1980 in Khwaja Ghar district. After completing his primary studies in Abu Usman Taluqani High School, Samim continued his higher education in social studies at Kabul University and graduated in 2006. This is his second tenure as member of provincial council.
6-Khwaja Abdul Aziz Latifi:
Son of Abdul Ahmad, Khwaja Abdul Aziz Latifi is born in 1961.A businessman by profession, he was doing dry fruit business in 2004, and later became member of provincial council in 2009.Earlier, he served as one of leading commander during Jihad.
7-Mujib-ur-Rahman Rashidi:
Son of Ghulam Sakhi, Mujib-ur-Rahman Rashidi is born in 1979 in Khwaja Ghar district and graduated from Hazar Bagh High School.After graduation, Rashidi worked in NGOs for a long time. He is member of provincial council in the second tenure. He served as secretary of the council for two years.

8-Shah Mahmood Taluqani:
Shah Mahmood Taluqani is the son of Alhaj Khudaidad. He was born in 1958 in Bagak village of Taluqan city.He is graduated from Abu Usman Taluqani High school.Earlier, he served in military during Dr. Najibullah government in late 1980s.

9- Maulvi Mahmadullah Awrasji:
Son of Abdul Qadir, Maulvi Mahmadullah Awrasji is born in 1965 in Warsaj district. He completed his primary studies at religious institutes and graduated from Dar-ulUlum Haqania in Pakistan. He worked as an assistance of provincial council, head of council relations officer, and head of provincial religious affairs department.

Daughter of Baba Jan, Simeen Hussaini is born in 1971 in Kishm district of Badakshan district. She studied at Bibi Maryam High School in central Takhar and succeeded to win second tenure in provincial council. Earlier, she was a teacher, director of kindergarten and worked at different foreign and local NGOs.
13-Mrs. Sahila Joya:
Sahila Joya is daughter of Abdul Jabbar. She is born in 1973 in Yanqi Qala district. Joya studied at Bibi Maryam High School in Kabul and graduated from faculty of geology in 1996. From 2000 to 2005, she worked at different positions in provincial education department. She enjoyed provincial council membership twice and served assistant head of the council as well.

Daughter of Taimouri Shah, Marya Taimouri is born in 1985 in Farkhar district. She completed her 12th class at Farkhar High School. Currently, she is a student of Takhar University. She made her way as member of provincial council in the second tenure as well.
