Prof. Nasrullah Stanikzai was born 1958 in Afghanistan and is the head of the law and political affairs department at Kabul University (20091028) and very active political Analyst for afghan internal Affairs. Nasrullah Stanekzai sees two reasons behind Karzai's political comeback 2009. He says that failing to see a better alternative, even the Afghan president's international critics are now looking toward Karzai.
 

Lutfur Rahman Saeed’s nomination was approved as a member of the Independent Commission for Supervision of the Implementation of the Constitution. But Nasrullah Stanikzai, who had also been named as a member of the commission, failed to win the required number of votes from Wolesi Jirga.
