3. Biodata:
Sorouri_HomaHoma Sorouri is currently working as Acting Gender Director with CSMD as part of the USAID/Afghanistan Civil Service Support Project. She obtained her first Master’s degree from Tehran University in International Politics. She received a Fulbright Scholarship in 2006 and successfully completed her second Master’s in International Affairs, concentration on Social and Economic Development in the New School University of New York City in United States. Previously she worked with United Nations Development Programme, Afghanistan Country Office as the portfolio manager of Local Governance and Capacity Development for two years. Ms. Sorouri has worked with various national and international organizations in United States, Iran, Afghanistan and Canada. She has been involved in the process of the development Afghanistan in the past 10 years. She was born in Herat in the mid conflict and that made her family to migrate to Iran where she did most of her education.
