3. Biodata:
Samei Jan Sherzada, son of Malik Sher Del, was born in 1960 in the village of Kot Moghul in Chawk district of Maidan Wardak province. He completed his primary education in Gardan Masjid School, and in 1976, he enrolled in Rahman Baba High School. He received his high school diploma in 1979. After the Soviet occupation, he fulfilled his duty and joined the resistance movement with the Hizb Islami Party. After the mujahideen victory in 1993, he served his people by fundraising to build a number of schools, irrigation systems, and bridges in his birthplace. He also managed to create an intermediate school and a religious school in his village by lobbying the Ministry of Education. As a village elder, Sherzada has provided invaluable services for his people. Sherzada was indirectly elected to the Meshrano Jirga in the 2005 Provincial Council elections.

He is married and has eight children.
