3. Biodata:
Wagma Sapai Wazhma Safi Wazhma Sapai was born in 1963 in the Masori village of Sawkai district, Kunar province. Sapai graduated from the Rahman Baba High School in Kabul in 1981. She has a bachelor’s degree from the Kabul Police Academy which she earned in 1979.

While with the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC), Sapai worked closely with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), High Commissioner of Refugees (UNHCR), Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), Afghanistan Attorney General’s office, and the Judiciary, as well as with religious/tribal elders on women’s affairs.

Sapai ran unsuccessfully for parliament in 2005,
 

Wagma Sapai is an independent Wolesi Jirga 2010 member.
