Sangar_HabibHabib Sangar was born 1979 in Laghman Province. He has a BA in Law and Political Science (2003) from Nangahar University. Further Education:  2011 Masters of International Relations Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University, New York USA ; 2010 Masters of Public Administration, Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University, New York USA.  Habib Sangar is from Afghanistan and is a Dual degree student of EMPA/MAIR at Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Part of his studies, Habib is concentrating on Global Development and International Trade.

He worked with an Afghan NGO (Afghan Returees Resettlement Asistant Organization) as a Exercutive Director and has joined working in Parliament from the beginning of establishment of its secretariat as Legal Assistant to the Committee on International Affairs and later as the Chief of Protocol. USAID funded Afghanistan Parlimentary Assistant Project (APAP) selected Habib Sangar (Wolesi Jirga) to participate in the New York State Senate’s fellowship program- a nine-month program under the SUNY/New York State Senate Fellowship (09/2008 – 06/2009). A Fellow works as Senate staffers and also takes legislative courses offered at SUNY/Albany's Rockefeller College of Public Administration and Policy, where he takes one or two courses in Legislative Studies.
