Aziz hails from Nangahar Province. He is a cleric. The Wolesi Jirga 2010 election runner, Mavlavi Abdul Aziz Khairkhwa, and three of his aides were wounded as a device fitted in his vehicle went off in Jalalabad city, Nangahar Province. (20100623).
