Ms. Gothai Khawrai has served as a member of the Language and Literature section of the Scientific Academy. Gothai Khawrai was the Head of the Pashtun Language and Literature Department in the Academy of Science, Editor of Kabul Magazine and Kureer Magazine for UNESCO, a Journalist at Bakhtar (Afghan Information Agency) and served as a news anchor for Kabul Television.
