3. Biodata:
Shahnawaz Kharoti, son of Haji Diftani, was born in 1944 in the Qarabagh district of Ghazni province. He received a private education. Kharoti was a member of the thirteenth National Assembly as a representative to the nomads. He has served as mediator and elder in his community. In 1979, he emigrated to Northern Waziristan in Pakistan, where he lived for 23 years. He was indirectly elected to the Meshrano Jirga through the 2005 provincial council elections in Ghazni.

He is married and has two children.

Kharoti speaks Pashto and Dari.
