3. Biodata:
Haji Mohammad Wali Alizai is the son of Shir Mohammad Aqa and was born 1971 in Kajaki District of Helmand Province. Alizai graduated from twelfth class of high school in Helmand in 2003.

 He is the son of the former governor of Helmand province, Sher Mohammad Akhundzada, and the nephew of another parliamentarian for Helmand province, Haji Abdul Hay (Akhundzada).  He served as the spokesperson of the province from 2001 to 2005, while his father was serving as governor.
