3. Biodata:
Abdul Wudod Payman, son of Muhammad Kabir, was born in 1958 in the Anaba district of Panjshir province Payman completed his secondary education at Rukha High School in Panjshir province in 1977. He then graduated from the Hadiqat ull-Ulom Islamic Madrasa of Peshawar in 1981.

Much of Payman’s experience is in teaching Islamic studies. He also fought with the Mujahideen. He has served as a political officer for the National Guard of the Ministry of Defense and as a director in the Air Force. He has also worked as a businessman dealing in precious stones.

Payman is affiliated with Hezb-e-Islami Afghanistan, led by Abdul Hadi Arghandiwal. He joined the party in 1976. He participated in the Emergency Loya Jirga in 2002 and the Constitutional Loya Jirga in 2003.
