Mohammad Qasim Paiman: Cases of corruption and dereliction of duty against the governor and police chief of the remote eastern province of Nuristan have been referred to the Attorney-General (AG) Office (20100523). Paiman had not been to Nuristan, bordering the Chitral valley of Pakistan, over the past six months. The police chief, Gen. Paiman, remained away from his office and ignored residents problems.
