3. Biodata:
Haji Mahboob Mahbub Khan, son Haji Mohammed Zarif Khan, was born in 1955 in the village of Hazar Juft in Garmsir district of Helmand province. He completed his education in the Agriculture High School of Helmand province in 1976. Mahboob Khan was appointed as a teacher in Garmser in 1977, and he later joined the military service. From 1978 to 1980, he served as the director of promotion in the Kajaki district of Helmand province.

He later fled to Pakistan. Between 1984 and 1989, he served as an agriculture worker in a refugee camp in Balochistan. From 1993 to 1999, he worked with the Helmand MCI as an agriculture worker. From 1999 until the National Assembly elections, he worked as an agriculture worker with CADG in Helmand. In early March 2004, he traveled to Thailand for a one and a half month course organized by CADG. Haji Mahboob Khan was indirectly elected to the Meshrano Jirga through provincial council elections in Helmand.

He is married and has three children.

He speaks Dari and Pashto.
