3. Biodata:
Mrs. Muqadasa Yuresh Muqaddesa Yourish was born and raised in Kabul,
 

In 2009, Muqaddesa was awarded an ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) scholarship to complete her bachelor’s degree in India.   She went to Pune University (India) for her bachelor’s degree in Business and International Relations.(2009-2012)
 

Upon her return in 2012, Muqaddesa managed and directed several assignments for a diverse set of clients in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors. In 2014, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship, where she completed her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with highest honors from Akron University, Ohio.(2014-20160500)

She is also an adjunct lecturer with the American University of Afghanistan, Department of Business.
 

Prior to joining the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission of Afghanistan, Muqaddesa was Director of Human Resources at Kabul Municipality, where she led and managed 8000 employees and was able to create and adopt merit-based HR recruitment policies; transparent pay packages, result-based appraisal system and an effective document tracking and record management system.

 

She is the co-founder of Cross Cultural Association (CCA) and Fulbright Student Association at Akron University and currently vice president of the Afghanistan Fulbright Association. She is also a founding member of Afghan Fulbrighters for Peace, Afghan Fulbrighter’s first think tank organization and an active member of “Afghanistan 1400”, a political movement drawn from a new generation of energetic, political-minded Afghans working to lay the foundations of a better Afghanistan for tomorrow.


Muqaddesa volunteers with Afghan Scholars Initiative (ASI) in connecting hand-selected Afghan students with visionary colleges/institutions in United States and India.

She is also a frequent commentator on public administrati reform, governance, anti corruption and youth affairs and has appeared on media channels including Tolo TV, Channel 1 Afghanistan, Ariana TV, PBS NewsHour and Voice of America.

Muqaddesa is fluent in Dari, English and Urdu and has a solid understanding of Pashto.
