Alhaj Amir Gul Shaheen was born 1984 in Parwan Province. Shaheen is the sponsor of a cricket team.

Amirgull Shahin secured 6,765 votes in Wolesi Jirga 2018 election and got a seat in WJ 2018. Eng. Ahmad Zia Ahmadzai, an observer in WJ election, said as many as 2,100 people used their votes in Mosahi, Kabul, but the IEC was reported that over 20,000 people took part in the elections. He claimed some ballot boxes had been stuffed one night before the election and some on the election night in favour of a particular candidate. He said security personnel expelled observers from polling stations and filled ballot boxes in favour of Ajmal Rahmani, Amir Gul Shahin, Mohammad Naeem Wardak and Parvin Durrani.(20181029)
 

Police forces have arrested two security guards of lawmaker Amir Gul Shaheen for beating a local trader. Shaheen and his security guards had beaten the trader in Nadir Pashtun commercial area of Kabul. The incident reportedly erupted following a brawl over a business deal. Meanwhile, MP Shaheen has claimed that his security guards acted in his defense following the brawl which turned violent.(20190623)
