Nazifullah Salarzai hails from Pashtun Salarzai tribe. Salarzais live in  some areas of Noorgal and Dangam district, Kunar province of Afghanistan and in FATA (Bajaur, Pakistan). Nazifullah Salarzai, the former spokesman for President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, has been appointed as Director of Policy and Strategy Development for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.(20150314)
