Mohammad Sarwar Sabaat Son of Mohammad Hassan(Grandfather:Sayed Mohammed) was born in June 1951 in Dar Abad village of Farah city in Farah province. He got his primary education at his hometown from Abu Nasr Farahi College. He achieved higher education from Kabul University in Science faculty. In 1974, Sabaat completed military course in Kandahar. He started working at Helmand education department in 1975 and then served as principal at Abu Nasr Farahi High School in Farah city. After the communist coup in 1978, Sabaat joined the Mujahideen to fight against soviet troops. He lived in UK from 1991 to 1998. From 2001 till 2006, he worked as Nimroz chief of staff and later as an employee at National Directorate of Security (NDS). Sabaat was posted as governor Nimroz in 2012. He was a Director of Admin and Finance for Office of the National Security Council. He did a course at Marshall Center (Senior Executive Seminar). Anti-government gunmen opened fire on 303rd passenger bus on Farah-Dilaram highway, killing two civilians and wounding Faridullah, son of Nimroz governor Muhammad Sarwar Sabat. (20121210)
