Yousef-Ali Vaezi Yusaf Waizi Yousaf Waizi was the Tehran representative of the Unity Party, a component of the Northern Alliance. (20010920).

He  is a member of the High Peace Council and an adviser to President Karzai in Religious Affairs. Second Vice President Khalili travelled to Baghdad (Iraq) and was accompanied by Sarwar Danish Acting Minister of Higher education, Nematullah Sharani and Yusuf Waizi Presidential advisor, deputy minister of information and culture, commerce and industries, and some members of Wolesi Jirga  (October 26, 2011)

Waizi: "There are documents and evidence that show that British forces in [Afghanistan's] Helmand Province not only did nothing to prevent the illicit drug trade, but in some cases also took part in it," Yousef-Ali Vaezi, an advisor to Afghan President Hamid Karzai, told Press TV on 20111215 . "They cooperated in the cultivation, production, and trafficking of drugs," he added. He also said that the restrictive conditions brought in the declaration of the national gathering of Afghan tribal leaders -- the Loya Jirga -- which was recently held to discuss long-term security agreement with the US, were still valid.'
