3. Biodata:
Sher Wali Wardak son of Khwaja Mir was born 1971 in Saeed Abad district of Wardak province and currently lives in Khoshal Khan Mina. After graduating from the International Rescue Committee (IRC) High School in Peshawar in 1990, Wardak earned a bachelor’s degree from the Agricultural University of Faisalabad. He also holds a master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Preston/Faisalabad University in Pakistan,
which he completed in 2006. Further to this he has studied project management in a course run by the
Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) organization, an Afghan national NGO. He lived in Pakistan some years in self imposed exile. Engineer Sher Wali Wardak (Kabul) is the brother of the Minister for Education, Faruq Wardak.

Sher Wali Wardak was injured in a blast outside his house in Kabul and died on the way to hospital. Wolesi Jirga member Hamid Ahmadzai confirmed that the IED was planted in an electricity box and was detonated upon the arrival of Sherwali.(20160605)
He is married and has seven children.
