Ghulam Husain Naseri, son of Ali Juma, was born in 1959 in Behsud district of Wardak province. Naseri completed his primary education in Behsud Primary School. He then went to Kabul and completed his secondary education, graduating from Amanullah Ghazni High School in 1971. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Law and Islamic Philosophy from Jamiatul Mustafa Al-Alamiyya University of Qom in Iran in 2007, where he studied for six years. In addition, he also undertook Islamic studies in a Madrasa for eight years.
Naseri immigrated to Iran in 1982 and stayed there until 2008, while continuing to visit Afghanistan.
