3. Biodata
Dr. Aqahi Abdullah Heiwad Hawaid son of Taj Mohammad Khan was born 1967 into an enlightened family. After his primary and secondary education he completed his study of Islamic economics. He was awarded a PhD from a British university.

Dr Abdullah "Hyvad" during the invasion of the Soviets was leaving the country.

Hewad was appointed as Governor of Ghor at the end of 2010, replacing Mohammad Iqbal Munib. He has made reintegrating Taliban fighters and other insurgents in Ghor the main priority of his administration. He has particularly reached out to local mullahs and elders in an attempt to open further communication with insurgents.

Dr Abdullah "Hyvad" is married with two children.

He speaks Dari and English.
