Jan Ahmad is a jihadi commander in Parwan Province. He is a former Jamiat-e Islami commanders from Shomali and is still affiliated with the Jamiat-i-Islami Afghanistan, led by Burhanuddin Rabbani. He is accused of snatching the land plots in Tatam Valleye allotted to agriculture officials by the president two years ago. Jan Ahmad had erected tents and built a boundary wall around the plots which seized two weeks ago (20100901) Governor Abdul Basir Salangi confirmed the land had been allotted to agriculture officials by the president. But he said Jan Ahmad claimed he had legal ownership documents of the land. His cache of illegal weaponry was bombed by the US on 29 June 2015.
