The Ministry of Industry and Commerce stated Afghanistan currently exports 20 major products annually to neighboring, regional, and international markets.

According to the ministry, these products include cotton, dried figs, raisins, asafoetida and its seeds, coal, fresh and dried onions, tomatoes, apples, pistachios and almonds, pomegranates, saffron, cumin, grapes, mineral stones, lead, non-alcoholic beverages, energy drinks, and fruit juices.

Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad, spokesperson for the Ministry, stated: “These 20 products, which make up 71% of the country’s total exports, are being exported to various countries in the region and around the world.”(20251123)
