3. Biodata:
Muhammad Ibrahim Ghashtalay Mohammad Ibrahim Ghashtali Mohammad Ibrahim Ghakhtalai, son of Haji Khan Padshah, was born in 1980 in Kot Kala village, Sayed Karam district, Paktia province. Ghashtalay graduated from Hazrat Bilal High School in Hango city, Pakistan in 1992. He got his bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science from Kabul University in 2004. He  established Pam (“Think”), a cultural organization, in 2007. He has since served as editor-in-chief for its publication.

He ran unsuccessfully for parliament in 2005.  Mohammed Ibrahim Ghashtalay Ghushtalai is a independent Wolesi Jirga 2010 member.
 

Commission (2012): Transport, Telecommunications, Urban and Housing Affairs, Water and Power Supply and Municipal Affairs (Deputy)

He received 3,884 votes in Wolesi Jirga 2018 election and got a seat in WJ 2018.
 

Ghashtalay is married and has two sons and two daughters.
 

He speaks Pashtu and English.
