Qari Salahuddin Ayubi a Uzbek commander has decided to cut ties with the Taliban but will not create an anti-Taliban front. The confirmation was given by four of his close aides. Ayubi had been appointed head of Mansouri's corps after the recapture of Kabul, but refused a position in the new government.(20221014)

Background:
ISI abducted Salahuddin, Taliban’s former Shadow Governor for Faryab, from his house in Quetta of Pakistan. He allegedly escaped from the NDS prison in 2019 and joined back Taliban. Following US-Taliban agreement, he had problems with Taliban leadership and stopped Uzbek Taliban from big attacks.
