3. Biodata:
Mrs. Lt Alia Azizi is from Jibril Region, Herat.  Like many others, Alia Azizi had left her job as female Prison Officer but later on local Taliban members ensuring her safety asked for returning to her duty. Media reported last October 2021 she had received a phone call from Nabi Khalil, the director-general of the Taliban’s prison in Herat, and he had asked her to return to work before she went missing. It is now six months that she is missing, but the Taliban have been rejecting the allegation of her imprisonment by the terror group. Mohammad Zia, Azizi’s husband, said he has gone to different departments in Herat and Kabul, looking for his wife but no one in the new government of Taliban is willing to cooperate. Rohullah, Azizi’s son, said the entire family is under severe psychological pressure. He said his father, Zia, has heart disease, and he suffered a stroke recently. The Taliban’s governor in Herat told the family that Azizi has left Afghanistan, and she is now living abroad, without providing any evidence to support his claim. Some reports from the ground are suggesting that she was killed by associates of the previous government for working with the IEA and being allowed to work with them.(20220121)

She is married to Zia Azizi. The couple has two sons.
