3. Biodata: Abdul Khaliq Fazal is an Afghan-Australian, currently living in Melbourne. In the 70s he came to Melbourne University to learn English. After the soviet invasion in Afghanistan, Fazal was among the small number of afghan Refugees who were granted Asylum by the Australian Government. He was the chairperson of the Afghan Australian Association of Victoria. Fazal wanted to run for the Afghanistan presidency in August 2009 election, registered as the official nominee for the Initiative for National Unity Party of Afghanistan. Mr Fazal works as an international investment consultant in Dandenong, Australia Fazal is an Australian citizen and is father of six children.
