3. Biodata:
Fayeq_NaqibullahDr. Naqebullah Fayeq, Naqibullah Faeq Naqibullah Fayiq  Naqeebullah Fayeq s/o of Muhammadullah, was born in 1982, in Almar district, Faryab province. Fayeq completed his secondary education at Amir Ali Shair Nawae High School in Faryab in 1997. He got his bachelor’s degree in Medicine from Balkh University in 2004, and went on to study in Germany and Turkey to become an ultrasound specialist.

During his studies in Afghanistan, Fayeq was also involved in social and cultural activities. He was the editor-in-chief of various publications in Mazar-e-Sharif, including the Hadaf publication and the Kal Chort Goy publication. He was also a member of various civil society organizations. Dr. Fayeq has been the Cultural Deputy of the Social Association of Afghanistan Junbish Youth since 2005.

Fayeq has worked as a doctor at various hospitals in Faryab province. Fayeq is affiliated with Hezb-e-Junbish Milli Islami Afghanistan, led by Abdul Rashid Dostum, and serves on the party’s central council.

He bagged 2nd most votes in Wolesi Jirga Election 2010.

President Ghani appointed former Faryab governor Naqibullah Fayiq as a senator and bestowed him the Mir Bacha Khan Medal of Honor from the government to lessen the differences, but residents of the province said that they want a governor who is their own pick.


Fayeq is married and has two sons and one daughter.

He speaks Dari, Turkish, English, Pashto and Uzbek.
