3. Biodata:
Zalmai Nishat Darayi was born in the village of Baba Ali, in Second District of Panjshir, on 15 of Aqrab 1353 (06.11.1975). In 1360 his family moved to Kabul and in the same year he started the primary school. He was graduated in 1992 from Ghulam Haider Khan School in Kabul.(1989 - 1993) In 1995 he went on to study medicine in University of Kabul, faculty of medicine. He got a scholarship from Ministry of Higher Education to study in Turkey. For one year, he studied Turkish Language in Iskenderun. In 1997, he went on to study International Relation in the Faculty of Economic and Social Science of Istanbul University.

His education remained halfway through due to economic hardship in Turkey. In 2003 he resumed his Higher Education in School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of the University of London, studying Politics. He completed his BA (Bachelor of Art).(2004-2007) He undertook a master’s course at the University of Essex, Department of Government in Colchester. He is studying political philosophy of post-structuralism, deconstruction psychoanalysis, and post-Marxism.(2007 -2009)
