3. Biodata:

Amir Abdul Wahid Faqir Zada, son of Haji Khair Muhammad, was born in 1958 in
Bangi district, Takhar province. Faqir Zada finished his secondary education at Abu Usman Taliqani High School in Takhar province in 1981.

Following his graduation, Faqir Zada joined the Mujahideen and served as a jihadi commander. Since then, he has served as a district governor in Takhar Province: he was the governor of the Sangi district for ten years, of Urtaq district for one year and of Khwaja Bahauddin district for three years. He was deputy governor of Takhar province from 2005-2010.

Commission (2012): Transport, Telecommunications, Urban and Housing Affairs, Water and Power Supply
and Municipal Affairs.
