3. Biodata:
Mrs. Hannah Sophia Ahmadzai, daughter of Hashmat Ghani Ahmadzai,  was born 1993 in Virginia, USA  but went to high school in Dubai, grew up in a family of prominent Afghan politicians and academics. Hannah is a graduate from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelors in International Affairs from the Elliot School of International Affairs.

Her two brothers Sultan and Aimal and Hannah co-founded the Institute for Afghan Woman.

Her father Hashmat Ghani Ahmadzai  ran for president in 2014, trying to edge ahead of about 25 other candidates. Hannah’s uncle and Afghanistan’s former Minister of Finance, Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, was running for president, too.

Hannah Sofia Ghani Ahmadzai holds a U.S. Passport.

She speaks Pashtu and English.
