3. Biodata:
Mrs. Khadija Zahra Ahmadi was born in Afghanistan 1986. She earned a Master’s degree in Urban Planning at the Art Tehran University in Iran. 

Ahmadi has worked in several urban development roles in government and with different international organizations in Afghanistan. She served for five years with the UN in Afghanistan. While working as an urban planning officer with UN-Habitat, she has involved in strategy municipality action planning, a participatory community-based development approach under the City for All national programme.

She was appointed Mayor of Nili, Daikundi Province in August 2018. Before her, from 2008 to 2015, Uzra Jafari served as the first female mayor in the history of Afghanistan.
