Mohammad Karim Atal Kareem Atal Mohammad Karim Ethel is the son of Alhaj Abdul Jabbar  was born in 1986 in Lashkargah City, the provincial capital of Helmand. Atal’s mother tongue’s Pahshto and he can speak Dari, English and Urdu.He has graduated from Lashkargah High School and received his bachelor degree in political science from Kabul University. Atal completed his primary education in Shahid Engineer Abdulmaitin’s high school in Helmand province, and majored in law at the Kabul University. Besides his duty as MP he is doing his mastery. Earlier, he had served as director for a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Helmand. He had also his own business.

Following completion of his primary school education, he immigrated to Pakistan due to war and after two years he returned to Afghanistan. He completed school in Helmand high school in 2004. Atal obtained his bachelor’s degree in Administration and Diplomacy from Kabul University in 2009.
 

Prior to entering parliament, he served as a member of the Helmand provincial council. Mohammad Karim Atal is an ethnic Pashtun and it is the first time he entered Wolesi Jirga. He doesn’t hold membership in political parties.

Atal secured 2,798 votes in Wolesi Jirga election 2018 and got a seat in WJ 2018.

Alhaj Mohammad Karim Atal was elected as Secretary of Wolesi Jirga 2019.

He can speak Pashtu, Dari, Urdu and English.
