2. Previous Function:
Jamal earned his bachelor’s degree from the Polytechnic University in 2006. Sayed Babar Jamal is an ethnic Tajik and it is the first time that he won a seat in the Afghan house of representatives. Before getting elected to the parliament, he had a construction company and ran operations there. He doesn’t hold membership in political parties and competed as an independent candidate for the parliamentary elections from Faryab province. He secured 3,736 votes in Wolesi Jirga 2018 election and got a seat in WJ 2018. |
