3. Biodata:
Abdul Qadir Bahman was born in 1979 in Afghanistan. He completed his primary education in his hometown, Puli-e-Khumri City of Baghlan Province, and then moved to Kabul to continue his education. He got a bachelor degree from Agriculture Faculty of Kabul University in 2007 and did his master degree (Master of Business Administration – MBA) at Preston University Islamabad Pakistan. After the education, he started working with the Chamber Reform Commission (CRC) and Chamber Merger Committee, played a role in the merger of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (state controlled chamber) and the Afghanistan International Chamber of Commerce (AICC) which was an independent and non-government chamber.
Bahman worked for almost seven years in different key positions (Business Development Service Manager, Member Relation Director and International Relation Director) in Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI), the apex organization of the private sector in Afghanistan.
Since January 2010 he worked as International Relation Director in ACCI, with responsibilities for international and foreign related areas like exhibition, international conferences (B2B, B2G and Business Matchmaking Conferences), organizing trade missions for ACCI members, and etc. This Department links the international chambers with ACCI and international business with local business in order to promote FDI and Joint Ventures.
The IR department optimize the facilitation of member’s foreign trade activities and potential foreign investor’s activities by providing any information and services needed, by initiating and coordinating promotional activities, and by smoothly and lawfully authorizing any documents needed.
Bahman contributed to promote ACCI as an independent legal entity, a non-political and non-profit organization of the Afghan business community, protecting the rights of the private sector and supporting the business activities of its members at national and international levels.
He is fluent in Dari, Pashto, English and Urdu languages. |
