Al Haj Mohammad Anwar Ishaqzai, an Afghan lawmaker from the southern Helmand province, has accused the foreign troops of helping the Taliban militants, according to a Pashtu-language Afghan daily.(20091217) Ishaqzai was an unsuccessful candidate in the 2010 Wolesi Jirga election. He got 1.029 votes. Mohammad Anwar Khan Ishaqzai governor of Logar and Brig. Gen. Amir Jaan Nasir chief of NDS of the province were targeted by a suicide attacker in Safid Sang area, Logar province and survived the attack.(20190120)
