Zhwandoon TV (Zhwandon = Life) is a Pashto-language television station based in Kabul, Afghanistan. It started officially broadcasting on Mar 21, 2011. Zhwandoon TV is covering entertainment programs and local news.

Lutfullah Mashal, the spokesman of the National Directorate of Security, accused Ensaf Daily and Tamadon TV [owned by Asif Mohseni] and Noor TV [owned by the Rabbani family] of receiving funds and story ideas from Iran. He also claimed that Shamshad (Eng. Karim Fazal) and Zhwandon TVs (Owner: Ismail Yoon ) are financially supported by Pakistan.(20120410)

The Attorney General Office (AGO) on 20131208 ordered the privately-run television channel “Zhwandoon” to suspend airing its programmes after the station came under widespread criticism from different circles over a political talk-show discussing tribes.
