Mawlawi Abdul Aziz was born 1960 in Ragh District, Badakshan and is aprincipal Hezb-e Islami local leader. He is Wolesi Jirga member. Aziz baged 3rd most votes in Badakshan Province during 2005 elections. He is a member of the Religious, Culture, Education and Higher Education Commission of the Wolesi Jirga. Aziz supported President Karzai in the 2009 Presidential Election. He was reelected in September 18, 2010 Wolesi Jirga Election.
