3. Biodata:
Alhaj Baz Mohammad Zurmati, son of Raz Mohammad Khan Zurmati, was born 1928 in Zurmat District, Paktia Province. He was in Middle School (1945). Published a book about Deh Mazang and Pule- Charkhi Jails- in progress. Zormati is a member of Itehad-e-Islami Afghanistan Party.

He is a member of the Public Welfare Affairs, Natural Resources and Environment (health Labor and Worker, Sports, Red Crescent and Administrative Reforms Commission.

Zurmati replaced Saed Hamid Ghailani Gilani Gailani who was initially appointed to the House by President Karzai in early February 2011 but failed to attend any session. No reasons have been given for Ghailani‟s failure to respond positively to his appointment.

Zormati was attacked by three suicide bombers in Badam Bagh area, Kabul, killing at least seven people and injuring above 100 others.(20170604)

Zurmati is pro President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai.
