Ghani_Zada_ZahirMuhammad Zahir Ghani Zada aka Qand Agha Muhammad is a Tajik from Jelga district, the son of a late Hezb-e Islami commander, who was imprisoned for several months under the Taleban before fleeing the country. He states that he first had the inspiration to run for the Afghan parliament when a refugee in Iran, and in fact he had made an unsuccessful attempt in the 2005 elections.

He was delisted from Wolesi Jirga Election 2010 after a Independent Election Commission Decision 20110821. However he will be replaced by Ashuqullah Ashoqullah.
