General Abdul Hakim Hakeem Angar a ethnic Pashtun  replaced Col. Sherzad as Helmand’s  police chief in late April 2010. On April 30, the General promised to do his best to bring improvement to the security situation in the volatile region.

A suicide bomber rammed a vehicle laden with explosives into the convoy of Gen. Mohammad Hakim Andar in Helmand Province. At least four security guards of the security chief Gen. Mohammad Hakim Andar were injured, and the health condition of one of them is critical.(20130807)
